.My Book.

In this book I invite you to travel with me into the great outdoors to paint.

Painting en plein air is a delight and a joy. It is also difficult, complex, and you need to be quick! This book is a personal record of many years spent painting outdoors in a variety of countries and weathers. I share my experience of sketching and painting en plein air, so you too can be inspired to pick up your brushes and give it a go!

The pictures you will find here in oils, gouache and watercolour, along with some pencil and pen sketches, all come from my sketchbooks and from my paintings created outdoors en plein air. I want to share them with you and inspire you to see the great outdoors as never before.
